EFG Hermes was named as Best Mena Asset Manager at this year’s MenaFM Performance Awards held in Dubai on Tuesday.
The recipient of the award for outstanding achievement by an individual this year was awarded to industry veteran Mohieddine Kronfol, CIO. Global Sukuk and Mena Fixed Income at Franklin Templeton Investments.
The seventh annual awards also saw Duet MENA and Charlemagne Capital pick up Best Mena Equity Fund for the >$50m and <$50m categories respectively for their Duet Mena Horizon Fund and Magna Mena Fund.
Al Masah Capital took home the Best Private Equity House, Abu Dhabi Financial Group was named as best UAE asset manager, while SEDCO Capital was named best Saudi asset manager.
This year’s event held once again at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC was hosted by former England cricket player Geoff Miller.
